This is what we done for our reading. Our reading group is called the Storm troopers. This video is about our book we are reading (Going after Humbug). My question to Jax was "How do you know that Humbug is the ariki of ducks?" and the answer was because he is the biggest duck I have ever seen. I hope you enjoy the video.

Letter to V.M. Jones

Dear V.M. Jones,

 My name is Joshua and I think that your story Buddy is mind blowing. I was stumped by all of the fantastic words you used. Josh and Chantel are my favourite characters in the story. Writing is my favourite subject at school.

 You are an awesome author and I wish I could be like you when I grow up. I have written a few long stories and some interesting ones too. My favourite chapter would have to be little miss perfect and the end of the race.

 When the teacher reads the book I go into a dreamland and imagine all of the stuff that is happening. Some of the chapters are sad and some are exciting. I would love it if you could write a few tips to me.

The butterfly effect questions and answers

1. Where should they hide when their parents leave? They might hide in the basement.

2. How might they get out of the house? When Mrs Anderson is asleep they can open a window and climb out.

3. Where will they put all of the leftover food? The could eat the leftovers.

4. Who should go in the room first?I think Henry should go in the room first because he is a boy and boys are not afraid.

5. Where will the butterfly go when it hatches? Hopefully it will die or go out the window.

Corner ball reflection

I was pleased with was learning how to play corner ball  because it gives you skills for passing ·

I really enjoyed learning how to pass to people without getting the ball taken off you because when I pass the ball gets taken off me.

Something I found hard was throwing the ball in the target· 

Something that made me think was passing to the people in my team because I get the ball taken off me …because I mostly get the ball taken off me · Something I want to get better at is aiming my throws (What can I do about it?)
