Autumn
AUTUMN
1/5/12
The blustery wind blows the
autumn leaves down from the
swaying thin tree,
the other leaves cover
the hard concrete
As you walk through the leaves
you hear them crunching and cracking
until they don’t exist any more
The leaves waiting for the
wind to blow them off the
wonderful coloured tree
I can see the beautiful
autumn fading away.

Man vs wild part 1
Man vs wild
I’m tramping through thick bush and hearing birds squawking, and frogs croaking. Suddenly I hear this really weird sound. I walk closer and closer “ahhh!!!” Thud, phew I'm alive I just fell down a 20 metre drop, I’ve got cuts and bruises everywhere. I start walking again with pain and shaking with fear. I walk towards the noise that got closer and closer, there it is a big Komodo dragon. I carried on past it, trying not to disturb it. I could see the Amazon rainforest ahead. I was up really high and I have to go down a long way. I start walking down but I stop because I feel something on my foot. I look at it and there it is a tarantula. Nervously, I pick it up. It felt really fluffy like a teddy bear. I put it on the ground,, I need to get on with it I’ve only got 3 hours left until it’s night.
(1 hour later) Sigh. I’ve been walking for ages and the Amazon rainforest is nowhere near me. I’ve seen lots of stuff on my way but it is nearly nighttime, only 30 minutes away. I start moving faster and faster but as I thought I was about to make it I fell down into a river. I tried swimming up but the current was too fast so I just had to go with it. In a couple of minutes I saw a slow patch of water so I swam over into it and climbed out. It is nearly night time I’ve only got 10 minutes left. I start making a tent out of wood and lots of leaves, I tried to catch some food. The only luck of catching food was finding a piranha, a wolf fish, catfish and a huhu grub. I Started building a fire. I find some pieces of wood. Soon enough it is time for me to go to bed.
Night, night.

Real life angry birds
This is my summarizing of real life angry birds
A Twelve-year-old British boy, Sam Beards creates real life angry birds. He got the real life angry birds from his phone. Instead of a sling shot he used his dad's pumpkin cannon that he built for Halloween. He sent Dorian along with his sister Jessica, and brothers Ben and Davy, who joined in helping him paint and decorate the pumpkins, Within just an hour after they began, Sam was ready to fire his first 'Angry Bird-Pumpkin Sam is no longer constantly hunched over his iPhone playing the video version but instead he is out on the farm playing the real life game.

Pride art
This is the art we had to do as our class. We got to choose out of our name or any letters of pride. We needed to make it colourful so it would stand out. We had a box to use, we had to curve the paper around the box then glue it to the box. We put our favourite colour inside the box. Then we made a tagxeto this is the link tagxeto
we glued our tagxeto over our favourite color, and we are going to hang it onto a piece of string and hang it from the ceiling.

Whitewater rafting
Swish! as our raft got pushed out into the water by the Strikers instructor called Dion. Our raft spun around like mad I felt so dizzy. We head out into the open water, finally we head into the action, Forward paddle!!! HOLD ON! Crash. We go straight into a mammoth sized boulder. Straight ahead we see a group stuck on a rock, we head straight towards them. We knock them off the rock but then we got stuck on it, they laughed at us. We call out to the other group to tell them to come and help us, they head straight towards us SPLASH! They push us into the rapids. WEE! “That was totally awesome,” I said. Lets do it again,” said Rhys. The raft weaved in and out of the jagged rocks then SMASH!! We hit Carnage Corner. Our raft runs half way up Carnage Corner, but where did Brody go? “Brody where are you?” we called out. “Here I am,” he said. “Weren't you meant to be over here?” “Yes I was,” he said. I heard Dion say that we're nearly finished. “One more jump out of the raft,” he said. “Ok,” we said. “WEE” Splash! We all hop back into the raft, we head towards land. “That was awesome,” I said. “I want to do it again,” Rhys said. When we got to land we had to load the rafts onto the bus trailer. We head to the camp again. “I want to do that again,” I said.
